Maurice makes like Pat Quinn and gets sacked
I liked Maurice, but I guess the results weren’t there. I don’t know how much can be blamed on Maurice himself, but I guess that’s what happens when you guarantee a playoff spot and then proceed to watch as your team shits the bed.
I thought they’d wait until they hired their new Ultra GM, but I guess Cliff had his own ideas. It will make for an interesting summer. New GM, new coach, maybe some decent prospects from the draft… I won’t even recognize these crazy Maple Leafs anymore. Well, not until the fall when they actually start playing. Then it will be allllll too familiar.
